Spring 2018 Trends
Spring trends have been revealed and trust me, you're going to want in on these trends.
So, let's talk work-out chic, plaid, floral, fringe, pink, cream/white, and denim on denim.
Throwback to high school where everyone wore workout clothes to class, luckily for your comfy side, it's time to break out those Nike and Adidas wind breakers and track bottoms/sweatpants once again.
Plaid? I hope you kept your flannels! High-end brands such as Fendi, Hermès, and Burberry are showing us plaid will definitely be in our closets again this spring in forms of dresses, pants, tops, and skirts.
When you hear the word 'floral' do you automatically think of your grandmothers closet? Here's your opportunity to go raid her closet! Subtlety is not going to happen this spring; the more flowers, the better. Dolce & Gabbana and Saint Laurent are your new hot-spots for floral pant suits and rompers. Can't afford high-end? Don't sweat it (your foundation will separate!), Forever 21, H&M, and all your fav stores will definitely be on top of the new trends.
Luckily for me I have a few fringe pieces that have never been worn yet in my closet. It's almost like I knew fringe would make a reapperance! Just kidding, Google it, all trends eventually come back full-circle. Not totally on board with wearing dangly bits on your clothing? You will change your mind sooner than later after seeing all of the variations to which you can rock fringe; I'm talking satin skirts with fringe and dresses with multi-colored fringe.
If you're anything like me, you buy colored garments and then end up wearing black garments everyday, it just HAPPENS, ok? Dig to the back of your closets and find those pink garments you shoved to the back. Pink pants, pink tanks, pink socks? You're going to want to wear them asap, after- all Alexander McQueen is matching pink with pink, why can't you do it too?
Listen, it is rare you will catch me wearing a cream or white outfit. Why you ask? I'm a klutz! A simple tea, coffee or ketchup spill and game over. With all this being said, it sounds like we're all going to be walking around with stains on ourselves because whether you like it or not, cream/white is in. You better replace that lipstick in your purse with a to-go Tide stick (life hack!).
It's the year 2001 and couple Brittney Spears and Justin Timberlake turn up to the AMA's matching in denim on denim ensembles. Looking back at the pics you may have laughed but take back that laugh because you may be resembling them very soon! You already own skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans, and mom jeans so basically Spring 2018 is in your drawers, just maybe throw on a jean shirt to match (Note: dark denim is preferred this spring).
There you have it, seven Spring 2018 trends, one new trend for every day of the week. Get out there in your white fringe top, dark denim jeans, pink tank, floral jacket, and workout shoes?...maybe not all at once.
